Prentice Orthodontics - Serving Thornton Patients
Embarking on an orthodontic treatment plan can be daunting – but Prentice Orthodontics serves the Thornton area, providing comprehensive care for patients while keeping them aware of what each process entails throughout their treatment. Your first visit will include a full evaluation of your overall orthodontic needs, from the alignment of your teeth to the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and any needed correction to all. Another element of your initial consultation will be an examination of your gum health and facial balance to determine if any major changes are needed to address larger issues.
Treatment Types and Services
The team at Prentice Orthodontics works with children as well as adults, so whatever your needs, Dr. Prentice would be happy to consult with you and formulate a treatment plan. For younger patients, we offer early treatment to address issues earlier than adolescents and prevent problems from becoming a larger issue. Early treatment is not ideal for all patients, however, so consult with Dr. Prentice if you have questions or concerns that you would like to address to ensure you are on the proper treatment plan. Our staff will recommend services only based on your individual needs.
Adolescent and Phase II Treatment
Phase II and adolescent treatment is the most common type of treatment, beginning in the early teen years. A common treatment is braces for correction of alignment or crooked teeth, but the ultimate goal is almost always the same – achieve the most healthy and confident smile possible.
Work with Dr. Prentice to receive a full comprehensive evaluation starting with overall mouth and gum health and including elements such as a facial balance evaluation, as well as a TMJ (temporomandibular joint) assessment. Our team aims to help you create a healthier, happier smile through our thorough initial evaluation to ensure our treatment plan is inclusive of all necessary orthodontic work. From start to finish, we work with you to allow you to better plan and budget for any work to be done.
